1. SHIPPING & DELIVERY

 1.1 All Packages are delivered by Royal Mail using either 1st Class Recorded, Standard Parcels or Special Delivery service.  International orders are delivered using either Airmail or Airmail International Signed For (Insured) for orders over £32.  All shipping costs are based on weight and clearly identified and updated on the Shopping Cart page. 

1.2 All delivery methods with the exception of Airmail, require a signature upon delivery. The signature of any person upon delivery shall be deemed to signify the acceptance that the goods have been received in good order. Please note that this term will stand whether or not the person signing is the actual customer.

1.3 All Delivery options are presented in the `Checkout` process, Royal Mail First Class Recorded delivery includes insurance up to £32 in the event that goods are either lost or damaged in the post. Where the value of goods exceeds this amount, Cooltronics would recommend using a delivery service with a greater level of compensation, should there be a problem. Cooltronics cannot be held responsible for the loss or damage of any items whilst in transit or take responsibility for any misdirected or undelivered orders, as a result of incorrect information being provided.  For all international orders over £32, only Airmail International Signed For (Insured) is available.

1.4 Goods delivered to the Customer shall be deemed accepted by the Customer and the Customer shall inspect the Goods immediately upon delivery and in all cases shall inform the Company in writing within 5 (five) days of delivery of any damage, shortages or non delivery of the goods.

1.5 When signing for goods customers must ensure that they either check the goods and sign to confirm that they have received the products in good condition or sign for the parcel as ‘damaged’ or ‘unchecked’. Failure to sign for a parcel as ‘damaged’ or ‘unchecked’ will invalidate any later claim that the customer may have if the goods are proven to have been damaged in transit.

1.6 All Shipping costs are based on weight and include all associated costs of packaging etc, all costs and options are detailed on the checkout prior to the order being placed. Upon dispatch of your order, you will receive an update of order notification, which will include the full royal mail tracking number for your delivery. To use this tracking facility go to: http://www.royalmail.com/portal/rm/track and enter the provided number.

1.7 Where possible and providing the order has been placed before 1100hrs Monday to Friday, Cooltronics will endeavour to dispatch your goods on the same day using your chosen delivery service and method.  Cooltronics do not offer a Saturday delivery facility and therefore any delivery will be made on the next working day. We do not however guarantee the availability of any products at any time. Where a product is temporarily out of stock, Cooltronics will advise you of when we will be able to fulfill the order, however this is an estimate only and shall not be binding upon us. In the case of unfulfilled orders you have the right to request a full refund should you chose. Due to the popularity of our products and that most of the products are imported; Cooltronics can normally ship your order within 14 days, should the product be out of stock. In all other cases, where for whatever reason, a process time of at least 3 (three) working days should be allowed prior to shipping.

1.8 The Company shall use its reasonable endeavours to deliver the Goods to the premises stated by the Customer by any delivery date estimated by the Company and for the avoidance of doubt the Customer acknowledges that the delivery date is not guaranteed or of the essence of the Contract and that the Company shall in no circumstances be liable to the Customer for any losses, damages or charges incurred by the Customer due to the late delivery of the Goods.

1.9 If the Customer fails to take delivery of the Goods (or fails to give the Company adequate delivery instructions at the time stated for delivery otherwise than by reason of any cause beyond the Customer's reasonable control or by reason of the Company's fault) then without prejudice to any other rights or remedies available to it the Company may:

1.9a store the Goods until actual delivery and charge the Customer for the reasonable costs (including insurance) of storage; or

1.9b sell the Goods at the best price readily obtainable (after deducting all reasonable storage and selling expenses) and charge the Customer any shortfall below the price obtained under the Contract.

1.10 We currently delivery within the EU and to the US, however if you have a requirement for our products else where, please email customerservices@cooltronics.co.uk and we will advise accordingly.

1.11 Sometimes stock may be withdrawn or discontinued. We shall make every effort to update the website at all times, but you understand and acknowledge that we are not liable to you for any failure or delay to fulfil an order due to the products being out of stock, withdrawn or discontinued.

2. Returns Policy / Warrantee

2.1 Where a Customer is not satisfied with the Goods and / or does not want them, the Goods can only be returned to the Company providing these goods have been treated with due care during the 7 day cooling off period as defined under the Distance Selling Regulations 2000. In the event of such returns, the Customer acknowledges that they shall be liable for all reasonable costs incurred by the Company in relation to carriage, postage, administration and packaging and as such these will be deducted from any credit issued by the company.  The Company shall not refund monies for Goods which are bought in error or are not resaleable beyond the Distance Seller Regulation 7 day cooling off period.

2.2 Where the Goods are being returned as defective under our standard 12 month manufacturing defects warrantee, the customer must return the product to Cooltronics with a letter detailing exactly the problem, together with proof of purchase. Cooltronics will then decide at our discretion, whether to issue a refund, replacement, or whether to have the item repaired. Refunds will not be given if Cooltronics judge that the product has been willfully damaged, misused, neglected, overloaded, modified, adapted or repaired.

2.3 All products will become our property once a refund or replacement is issued.

2.4 It is the customer`s responsibility for the safe return of all goods. We suggest Royal Mail Special Delivery or Royal Mail Recorded Delivery. All items must be returned as they were received with their original packaging and full contents included, along with original documentation. We do not refund return postage costs.

2.5 Cooltronics accept no responsibility for the loss of data or information stored on any products or accessories returned to us. Please ensure you keep a copy of all data on products sent to us. If a product becomes corrupt or damaged and data backup is not possible we will do our utmost to recover any data, but cannot guarantee recovery.
